Magicman Global Licensing Joins BFA

Magicman sister company Magicman Global Licensing is pleased to announce that it has been accepted by the British Franchise Association as an Associate member, securing their reputation within the UK as an ethical and responsible franchisor while reinforcing the support services of the BFA to Magicman franchisees.

Mark Henderson, CEO of the Magicman Group said of the affiliation:

 “Achieving membership of the British Franchise Association (BFA) has been a major goal of our franchise operation from the start. Being a member of the BFA has major advantages to Magicman with regard to marketing through mainline platforms.

“Membership also gives the prospective franchisee a measure of confidence that the management and structure of our franchise has been rigorously examined by an independent body.

“I know from experience that there are not many publications that do not advocate membership of the BFA as a pre-requisite for any business opportunity in franchising and Magicman are extremely proud to have become a member of the BFA family.” 

Magicman Global Licensing was incorporated in January 2014 with the purpose of extending the renowned Magicman on-site hard surface repair and restoration service to hand-picked local operators as a franchise opportunity. There are now five Magicman franchisees working around the UK including Northern Ireland and the franchisor is looking at new territories within the UK and overseas.

One of the most important aspects of our franchise packages is the level of support built in. The package includes the full training programme afforded directly employed Magicman Repair Technicians, call centre staff to act as first point of contact for the first year, professional marketing methods and materials, and the experience and expertise of CEO Mark Henderson who has built up his business over 23 years from a one man in a van operation.

BFA membership is a natural extension of this support as our Head of Franchise Sales  Clive Smith explains:

Magicman are following Government Guidance on the control of the coronavirus (Covid-19) and take the health and safety of their staff and customers extremely seriously. All our technicians are checked daily that they are safe to work and we do not attend any jobs where the customer has self-isolated. When our technicians are attending, they are wearing throwaway gloves and masks as necessary.

Our call centre staff are all in the office as usual and available to deal with all enquiries and immediate bookings. We are currently trying to deal with all bookings as fast as possible and to attend and complete works within 48 hours if achievable. Our repairs are carried out with the minimum of disruption and items are often back in use within a matter of hours.
