Magicman Riding Crews in Singapore

Singapore Smash

Magicman recently completed a half-million pound repair and restoration project on time and in budget over 13 days, for a cruise operator client in Singapore.

A Magicman team of 85 personnel headed by Gareth Preston (Senior Manager Marine Services) travelled to Singapore to carry out works including re-upholstery of over 1200 pieces, all carried out on site with no prior preparation before project start.

Two teams of French Polishers worked in over 500 cabins repairing damaged wooden surfaces and furniture, working around other contractors to accommodate their competing programs. A team of 10 Magicman Technicians were tasked with the restoration of over 200 brass window frames that had seriously corroded and deteriorated.

Magicman's on site repair and restoration services enable cruise operators to maintain the aesthetics of their fleet while in service wherever they are in the world. Typically our 4-6 man team will visit each ship once every six months to maintain their appearance. Magicman can also arrange surveys (with real time reporting), travel, accommodation and shipping; thus removing further administrative burden from clients.
